Hal Goldstein is a founding partner in the New York-based architecture firm Janson Goldstein, where he designs some of the city’s more unique spaces.
Although he has always participated in athletics, Hal is relatively new to endurance sports, having started in 2006.
“I enjoy training. I don’t train to compete but compete because I happen to be training anyway,” says Hal. “I’ve done two Olympic Distance Triathlon’s and two half Ironman distances. My favorite race was the Mighty Montauk Half IronMan not too far from my home in New York City.”
Hal’s support of the military started with his family. “My father served in the Army and was deeply proud of his service. I am honored to be riding with this great group of people, and a team that will help the men and woman of our armed forces and their families. RAAM is exciting but as Team Intrepid Fallen Heroes it now has greater meaning.”
